About Zoekee

It started with reefing

Zoekee began as a reef platform. Reef keeping was the first interest that showed us how scattered useful knowledge, real experience, and inspiration had become.

But reefing was never our only interest. The same people also kept freshwater aquariums, grew plants, cared for reptiles and birds, and moved between hobbies that naturally overlap.

We were tired of starting over

Every hobby seemed to require another forum, app, profile, and collection of saved links. Good answers stayed trapped inside one community even when they could help people in another.

Sometimes we did not want to debate or become an expert. We simply wanted to show off the things we cared about, see what other people were making, and learn what to try next.

Why Zoekee exists

Zoekee brings knowledge, community, and discovery together around the things people love. Interests organize the experience, while shared tools make it easier to explore across them.

An article can apply to one interest or several. A profile can reflect the whole person behind the hobbies. Search and Explore can reveal useful connections without forcing every interest into a silo.
